On December 26, Jason Van Bemmel, Jonathan Koppenhaver and L,B. Graham will be heading out for a two-week mission trip to Uganda, serving Reaching Africa's Unreached. They will be preaching, teaching, training pastors, clearing land for a Christian school and enjoying fellowship and relationship-building with the staff of Reaching Africa's Unreached and their partner churches.
Reaching Africa's Unreached (RAU) is on the front lines of the Gospel's advance in the world. Situated in Northern Uganda, just a couple of miles south of the South Sudan border, Jacob and Carol Lee are engaged in reaching out to unreached tribes in the area, planting churches, training pastors and teaching valuable agricultural skills. Forest Hill Presbyterian Church has been supporting and partnering with RAU since our church began in 2015. We have been pleased to have Jacob and Carol visit us and to have Jacob preach for us. We have a strong and deep friendship and partnership. The primary purpose of this trip is to support, encourage and strengthen the work of Reaching Africa's Unreached.
The trip will cost an estimated $7,000 for airfare, travel costs, housing, immunizations, supplies, etc. In addition, our team is hoping to bring a generous supply of Arabic Study Bibles and other Arabic-language resources for the pastors and church leaders they will be training. You can purchase Arabic Study Bibles and a micro-USB of Arabic-language materials online and have them shipped to the church at this mailing address:
