series: isaiah

began in september, 2022

Isaiah is a masterpiece of Hebrew literature and one of the most-quoted books of the Bible. It has been called by many both "the Bible in miniature" and "the Fifth Gospel" for its compelling portrait of Christ. It's remarkable to consider that we learn so much about Jesus from a book written 700 years before He was born. We will be studying the Book of Isaiah for the next 2-3 years, until 2024.

Pastor Jason will return to the series on Isaiah after the summer of 2023.  Join us for a study of the Psalms.

serving the Forest Hill area of Harford County, Maryland. - - Click MORE >

  • what is our mission?

We are committed to being deeply rooted in God's word
and to reaching our neighbors and the nations with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

  • How are we structured and accountable?

We are a Presbyterian church, which means that we have elders who are called, elected, ordained and installed to lead the congregation and shepherd the flock of God under their care. We also have deacons who serve the practical needs of the congregation and our community. As a church of the Chesapeake Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), we are connected and accountable to other churches in our presbytery and to the wider denomination.  - - - - Click MORE >

  • what do we believe?

We are a confessional, Reformed church. We believe in the authority and inerrancy of Scripture and in the central importance of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We hold to the Apostle's Creed and the Nicene Creed, like all other Christian churches. We further hold to the Westminster Confession of Faith with its Larger and Shorter Catechisms. We believe that our commitment to the standard creeds and confession of Reformed Presbyterian churches keeps us grounded in solid truth and prevents us from drifting away from the "faith delivered once for all to the saints." (Jude 3) - - - Click MORE >

  • what are we like?

If you come to worship at Forest Hill, you'll find us to be a warmly welcoming church. Our worship style is structured and reverent without being stuffy or cold. Our desire is to worship God in a warm, joyful, Christ-centered and welcoming manner.

  • what are our plans?

We're very thankful to the Lord for providing a beautiful 11-acre property on West Jarrettsville Rd. for our future church home. We purchased the land in September of 2019 and paid off the loan in January of 2022. We are in the process of designing and seeking county approval for a beautiful new church building on this site.
